Mission Marketplace
is a faith-based initiative to help improve the lives of people all over the world.

Welcome!

As you can see, we are taking our traditional Mission Marketplace and going VIRTUAL this year as we all live through a very unique time in our lives. Although Covid-19 has thrown a wrench into our plans to get together each year, it can't stop us from supporting Artisans, Fair Trade Goods & World-Wide Markets through the wonders of new technologies!

So, we've established this website to act as a "Virtual Mission Marketplace 2020." All that means is that you will have access to many of our traditional vendors through links found here on our website.

There are a few benefits for you because of this necessary arrangement:

  •  The Mission Marketplace website will be online constantly so you can find our vendors, browse some samples, shop direct and support our vendors any time of year.

  • You will have direct links to the vendors' websites who are participating and therefore have access to ALL of their inventory.

  • If you order before the dates specified by the individual vendors, you'll be guaranteed delivery by Christmas 2020.

So, please take a look at the vendor information we have for you here and then use the links to shop their sites and support their work!

A Better World in the Making
Since 1949

Fighting global poverty through fair and ethical trade

One of the first fair trade organizations in the world, SERRV International began its mission by helping displaced European refugees trade their handcrafts for income after the Second World War. Since then, we've extended our reach to 24 countries worldwide, working to empower over 8,000 artisans and farmers every year by selling their beautiful handcrafts.

SARI BARI

All Sari Bari products are sewn using an ancient Bengali technique called kantha, a form of embroidery, (pronounced “kahn-thah”) and signed by the artisan according to tradition.

“Kantha has traditionally provided women with space and time of their own with which they created this extraordinary art-form. It is an exclusively woman’s activity where they can interact with other women and gain a sense of self.”—Jasleen Dhamija, from the Craft Council of India
